Private Sessions

Private sessions are the fastest way to progress in Pilates. A certified Pilates trainer will work one-on-one with you on the Reformer, Trapeze Table, Chair, Barrel and mat, adjusting the intensity of the work to the level appropriate for you. Privates are also appropriate for those with special considerations. Clients new to the studio are required to take five private sessions before joining a class. Private sessions are 55 minutes long.

Duet Sessions

A duet is a 55-minute, semi-private session with two participants and one instructor. Duets are a cost effective way to get a personalized workout. Friends or partners can help keep you motivated and accountable, and…it’s FUN!

Group Classes

The equipment was created to both support and challenge the body’s core musculature. The spring resistance assists weak areas of the body and encourages the development of core strength while emphasizing proper joint alignment. Flowing movements link together through mindful breathing to challenge your balance, coordination, and abdominals. Working on the equipment can not only be therapeutic, it can also be fun and challenging.

Mat Classes

Mat Pilates is available in a class setting of up to 10 people. We teach movement in a safe environment so that everyone gets the best possible instruction while building strength to suit their body. Modifications are offered for the students at their level.  If you have diagnosed osteoporosis and/or osteopenia please make the instructor aware so that modifications specific to you can be made appropriately.  We work on developing strength and flexibility, improving posture, and preventing fractures or further bone loss.

Scolio-Pilates®

We’d like to meet you one-on-one to help you perfect your home program. During your intensive, we will assess your scoliosis curve and create a system for wedging, strengthening, elongating, breathing, and fascial assistance to a more neutral position. The initial consultation is typically 3 hours. Still photography and video of your exercises are allowed and encouraged! We can even video your home program and prepare it for you.

Z-Health Assessments with Katie

What happened before what happened…happened! Sounds ridiculous, right? By getting a thorough history we can have a better understanding of your movement patterns and how they were created. Often times we overlook minor injuries, surgeries, etc. without realizing the full impact on movement and overall health. During the Initial Assessment, we will take a look at your gait, flexibility, balance, sensory reception, and nutritional intake among many other things. We will approach this session with long-term progress in mind.
